Eggcellent!

     So, we have five eggs my friends! They have not dropped yet, we went ahead with the insemination today per the doctor's guidance. We will not know anything for another two weeks, but I am hopeful. We did have 5 big beautiful eggs in there all ready to go. We were told to go ahead and try our own in home "insemination" tonight, wink wink nudge nudge know what I mean? Say no more! Nothing better than having a doctor plan out your marital duties for ya! All in the name of having kids, at this point I will do it while standing on my head singing Yankie Doodle, if it means we will be able to have a baby. I am sure Jon is pumped that I am telling everyone about this, but what the hay we are all adults here.

   We already have our names picked out for all the eggs that will hopefully turn into little babies! So everyone pray, send happy thoughts, good vibes or whatever it is you do to help others, because we are going to need it! Life is good, we are extremely blessed and are waiting on these little guys and gals to show up. God bless you all have a wonderful evening!

Who is EGGcited?

So this is my second month using the fertility med clomid. Last month we had 3 eggs! AMAZING! While those sneaky little eggs decided to pop and not tell my ovulation kit, so we could do our insemination, I am still cautiously excited about knowing that my body is in fact producing eggs and dropping all of them! Jon and I joked about what we would name our triplets if they had taken root and started to grow. We also joked about having four at a time and doing the one and done pregnancy. 

Well, that joke isn't as funny this month when we have 5 count them FIVE eggs! The doctor wasn't taking any chances this month and I am injecting myself with a medicine that will make the eggs drop on wednesday. This will insure that we are able to inseminate and not miss our eggs. There is a very good chance with soo many eggs floating around in there one is bound to be fertilized and hopefully take it's place in my uterus! Who's EGGcited?! I know I am!

We were hoping for children last month and the month before that but we will try and take heart that it's in God's hands and perhaps he is just waiting until we have a big enough challenge. ;) Multiple babies at once here we come! Until then we are thankful for small opportunities for hope!
